Instead, Channel 1 employs AI-generated photorealistic news anchors and reporters, delivering the news with stunning quality.  These animated avatars are virtually indistinguishable from their human counterparts, making the end of days characterized by herky-jerky images and misplaced lip synchs. 

I also speak Tamil.  The AI-generated news anchors operate around the clock, never go on strike, and can present the news in any language spoken on Earth.  It’s anticipated that their creators will instill these digital communicators with unique personalities to enhance their life-like appearance.  

Beyond the News.  AI-generated movies have been in production for some time.  Artificial images, called Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) debuted in the 1977 classic, “Star Wars” and evolved significantly in the 1982 film “Tron,” becoming a stample in various movie genres.  However, CGI development is intricate and costly.  The latest generative AI based images offer a more cost-effective solution. Consequently, AI-generated movies are now being produced as short feature films.  The Frost, a 12-minute horror/science fiction movie entirely AI-generated by Waymark, showcases the company’s video generation capabilities.  It was created by a company named Waymark to demonstrate that company’s AI video generation capabilities.  While impressive, “The Frost” remains distinctly AI-generated.  Channel 1’s newscasters marks the next phase in the AI-generated video revolution.
